Guy Saayman

Financial Adviser

I have been part of the Financial Services industry since 2000. I completed my Certificate IV (Financial Planning) in 2004 and Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) in 2008. With around 20 years in the Investment and Finance Sector, I have a wealth of experience and have been privileged to work in such a large section of the financial advice arena.

My background includes Funds Management, Financial Product Development, Wholesale Funding, Stock broking, Insurance and Financial Planning.

Despite all of my experiences, financial planning is my passion and where I add the most value. I’ve found that the greatest part of this industry is the people I get to meet and help. Nothing is more satisfying than getting the best outcome for my clients. When I am not at work, I still participate in rugby union, albeit a very social level of the sport and also take the opportunity to have a surf from time to time.

I have a strong interest in the Not For Profit and Caring Sector and I’m a board member of a charity based in South Africa. I am also actively involved in my community and I’m a regular parent helper at my son’s school. I regularly play rugby and encourage youth sporting development.

With a very broad base of experience, I have a very strong focus on people and effective solutions.

My main focus in life is to enjoy it and maintain a sense of humour. I take the same approach with my clients. I like to get to know them and help them meet their goals and make the most of the opportunities that they have.
